About the event
Douro-Dummer Cultural Day - Discover Douro-Dummer! All day activities at the Douro-Dummer Public Library
Activity 1: Douro-Dummer the Land (10am - noon)- Geology bus tour guided by Craig Murray (Trent School of the Environment) we invite you to learn about notable Douro-Dummer land formations that shape our community. $10/person need to register with the library.
Activity 2: Douro-Dummer Mural Art Project (10am -2pm) - Drop-in style art workshop guided by Tina Fridgen (Douro Art Studios). Create 1-3 small paper tiles to add to our new municipal mural. Craft supplies and artistic guidance will be free for all - targeted for new artists of all ages. Refreshments provided.
Activity 3: Library Art Gallery Installation Celebration (2pm - 3pm) - Celebrate local artist Debra Brown and her grand-daughter. Light refreshments provided.
