Douro Art Studios is a nature‑based creative studio rooted in the Douro region that supports art education, sustainable craft, and handmade production inspired by the natural world. The studio is home to the artwork and practice of artist and educator Tina Fridgen, and serves as a space for learning, making, and community connection through programs such as Douro Art School, studio-crafted goods, and material‑focused art practices including printmaking, beeswax work, and stained glass. Guided by ecological awareness, place‑based learning, and slow handmade processes, Douro Art Studios also aims to support and host local artists through shared studio space, mentorship, and collaborative creative opportunities.
